Also, kindly send a sketch
indicating the physical dimensions such as Outside diameter (OD),
length / width, tooth depth, Material specifications (Cast Iron /
Steel / Phosphor Bronze etc). If it is Steel, please inform us
whether it is soft or hardened alongwith hardness details of the
tooth portion, if possible.
It will be also helpful, if you give
the tooth impression of the original gear on a white sheet of
paper. For making this impression, you can apply Prussian Blue on
the tip portion (i.e. top land) of gear as well as on the side
face of the gear and transfer the same on to a white sheet. This
will help us to understand your requirements more clearly and
submit our competitive offers.
